At Abode Peoria Preschool, we believe that high-quality early education should be accessible to every family. We proudly offer several tuition assistance options to help make childcare more affordable.
DES
DES (Department of Economic Security)
We’re all about helping families — and so is the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES). DES offers financial assistance for childcare to qualifying families, helping cover a portion of tuition costs so parents can work, attend school, or participate in approved programs.
Abode Peoria Preschool is a DES-approved provider, which means we meet all state requirements and are authorized to accept DES childcare assistance. Once approved through DES, families may use their benefits directly at our school. Our administrative team is happy to guide you through the process and answer questions about enrollment and co-payments.
We also work with families connected to the Department of Child Safety (DCS). Foster children typically qualify automatically for childcare assistance, and we proudly support foster families by ensuring a smooth enrollment process. If you are a foster parent, please let our office know so we can assist you with the required documentation.
For eligibility requirements and applications, families must apply directly through DES or through their assigned DCS caseworker.
Quality First Scholarship
We proudly participate in the Quality First Scholarship Program, Arizona’s quality improvement and rating system for early childhood education.
The Quality First Scholarship helps eligible families reduce tuition costs while ensuring children attend a high-quality early learning program. Eligibility is income-based and may depend on family size and other factors.
As a participating Quality First provider, we are committed to maintaining high educational standards, structured curriculum, and nurturing classroom environments. Our team can assist families in determining eligibility and completing the scholarship application process.

ESA scholarship
At ABODE Peoria, we proudly accept the Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) for our Kindergarten program.
Families can use ESA funds to cover tuition and other educational costs. Our team is also happy to guide parents through the ESA application process and help answer any questions along the way—making it easier for your child to get started with quality early education.

We offer several in-house tuition discounts to support our families:

Limited-Time Promotional Offers (when available)
Discount eligibility may vary and cannot always be combined with other tuition assistance programs. Please speak with our administrative team to learn which discounts apply to your family.

Other Grants
In addition to DES and Quality First, we receive funding through smaller community and private grants designed to support families in need.
These grants may provide partial tuition assistance for families who:
- Do not qualify for DES
- Do not meet Quality First Scholarship requirements
- Demonstrate financial need
Eligibility applies and funding availability may vary throughout the year. Families are welcome to inquire about current opportunities and apply when funding is available.
