Our school is based in the principles and philosophies of Montessori educational framework. All our classrooms focus on the development of, Care of Self, Care of Environment, Control of Body, and Grace with Courtesy. With these principles at our core, all of our classes develop a strong sense of independence within the children. Our child centered approach allows for the students to find interest in things on their own and our teachers are able to educate them through these interests.
At Abode Peoria Preschool we are proud to offer the best childcare center in the valley. With a two-acre campus, we can provide endless opportunities for children to grow and explore. Our campus is also home to three goats, two pigs, and several chickens! We have several outdoor classrooms, a multi-use studio for dance, yoga, and art classes, an expanding array of playground equipment, and sports courts that are utilized in our athletic play programs!
Our on-site private chef provides the kids with balanced nutrition in our provided meals of breakfast, lunch, and snack! Our meals are all made fresh daily and follow the Arizona Health Departments standard for nutritional needs. Forget the idea of “school lunches” and come enjoy real food that allows for better growth and health for our youth!
One of our favorite parts of ABODE Peoria is our wonderful animals on campus. We are home to three goats, two pigs, and four chickens! Our teachers love to teach our students about compassion and responsibility through the use of our campus pets. In most circumstances, the students will be encouraged to touch, handle and care for animals as part of the educational experience.
